The cast of ‘The Wire’ is reuniting in New York for ‘The Wire: Paintball Edition’ for actor Jamie Hector’s (Marlo) non-profit youth organization Moving Mountains.

The tournament will pit cast members against each other as The Streets Vs. The Law. Players include but are not limited to Michael K. Williams (Omar), Sonja Sohn (Kima), Felicia Pearson (Snoop), Anwan Glover (Slim Charles).

100% of proceeds go to Moving Mountains Youth Summer Program

The 2nd Annual Charles McCree Presents: “PROJECT WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES” set to take place December 19th in Atlanta, GA.

PROJECT: WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES raised over 2,500 pairs of shoes, and made donations to: Hosea Feed the Hungry, the Atlanta Union/My Sister’s House, Kicks for Kids; It’s Cool to Be Smart and the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta.

Strike 4 Hunger “Ten 4 Ten” to Benefit Atlanta Food Bank

Saturday November 14th, Samuel Media presents “STRIKE 4 HUNGER” at The Dolce/Ten Pin Alley in Atlantic Station to benefit the Atlanta Food Bank.  Featured Music by DJ Judgemental.

Every strike bowled between 9 PM to 10 PM, 10 canned goods will be donated to the Atlanta Food Community Bank.

ACFB supports a wide range of people in need, from children to the working poor. Food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers are among the agencies that receive product from the Food Bank and provide food and other critical resources for low-income Georgians who suffer from hunger and food insecurity. The Food Bank also operates several community projects to aid our agencies in community building, technical assistance and advocacy efforts.
